On Tuesday, 11.10.2022, the ceremonial honoring of the best examination graduates of the Dresden Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) took place in the Rudolf Harbig Stadium. Among those honored are the two IFW graduates Max Keller and Matthias Jank, who completed their vocational training with very good results. Max Keller is honored as the best trainee of his year in the state of Saxony in the profession of technical product designer. Matthias Jank completed his training as an electrical engineer as the best in his year at the IHK in his profession. Saxony's Minister of State for Economic Affairs, Labour and Transport (SMWA) Martin Dulig and IHK CEO Lukas Rohleder congratulated the graduates on their special achievement.
Vocational training is a very important issue for IFW Dresden. The focus is on the training of technical personnel in six different professions. The honoring of the two young graduates is also an occasion to thank the trainers for their commitment. Professor Dirk Lindackers, Head of Research Technology, summarizes the obviously successful cooperation between the apprentices and the experienced trainers: "Outstanding apprentices need outstanding trainers."
For this reason, in addition to the excellent graduates, the companies also received a certificate for these above-average achievements in vocational training. Marek Ulbrich, trainer in electrical engineering, accepted the certificate on behalf of all trainers at IFW Dresden.
We join the congratulations of the Minister of State Martin Dulig and the IHK Dresden and wish both award winners all the best for the future!
